Lara Kingsley Series (mystery/science fiction) – features Lara Kingsley, former special forces and bad-ass private investigator, solving crimes in Washington, D.C. in the near future in a series that uniquely blends elements of suspense, techno-thriller, and speculative fiction. Lara, her brilliant side-kick, Vik Abhay, and a vibrant cast of supporting characters are thrust into a new technological world involving drones, biotechnology, gene editing, robotics, microelectronics, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, cyberspace, and 3D printing. When completed (estimated late 2025), the series will contain at least five books.
Chronicles of Asterwelt (epic fantasy) – features Mirra, a 16-year-old pig farmer’s daughter who believes she’ll be stuck at the Manor House as the young wife of Lord Gregory. Little does she know, but Mirra possesses many hidden gifts inherited from her druid mother and will soon be called by an unborn dragon to seize her destiny. Despite her humble beginnings, Mirra’s journey is anything but ordinary. As she navigates the treacherous world of Asterwelt, she must grapple with her burgeoning magical abilities and dark secrets that could alter the fate of her entire world. When completed (TBD), the series will contain at least five books.
The Lucksmiths (urban fantasy, comedic fantasy) – features Tobin, a rookie angel working in the Department of Luck, Misfortune, and Other Calamities, where luck is collected based on generated good karma and distributed to humans through a vast cosmic bureaucracy. Tobin discovers an allocation error that has undermined Maya Sanchez’s life and career dream of becoming an advertising executive. To correct the situation, he must navigate celestial politics and bureaucratic inefficiencies to restore her luck account before his own angelic career is destroyed.
Chronicles of Arcadia (science fiction/dystopian thriller) – features Mackenzie Beaumont, a 19-year old separated from her family and living in Arcadia (postwar New York City), one of five city-states of the Republic of Westphalia. To survive in the postwar society, she’s given up her right to privacy and must live by strict rules. Frustrated with her inability to see her family, Mackenzie prevents the Palisades supercomputer from tracking her with signal blockers and inadvertently helps an underground movement called the Resistance. When completed (TBD), the series will be a trilogy.
Morgan Shaw Series (thriller/science fiction) – features Dr. Morgan Shaw, a bad-ass national security expert who works at the White House. Amidst heightening tensions with China, Morgan discovers some troubling information about the algorithms that operate the Department of Defense’s automated nuclear command and control system for for nuclear weapons. When a major crisis breaks out between the United States and China, bringing both countries to the brink of nuclear war, Morgan needs to persuade the president to rescind the launch order within eight minutes and fifty-three seconds.
