In this episode, I visit the small town of Eldorado, Texas. If you drive north on Highway 277, about ten miles from town, you may spot something odd-looking on the horizon. From a distance, it looks like it could be a pyramid from an ancient civilization, but it is actually a ten-story early warning radar that used to serve as part of the U.S. command and control structure for nuclear weapons during the Cold War. It still belongs to the U.S. Air Force but is abandoned and in disrepair.
